students working togetherCardiff University recognises the vital contribution which opinions and feedback from students make to the enhancement of the educational environment and the fulfilment of the University’s strategic goals.

In recent years, the range of opportunities for collecting and reporting feedback from students has increased significantly, with Cardiff students contributing to a number of local and institutional-level surveys.  These surveys provide valuable data for use both nationally and within Cardiff University, in order that the University can continue to attract and retain high quality students and enhance the quality of its services and provision.

Cardiff University students contribute to the following major surveys at institutional level:

In addition to these externally-run surveys, Cardiff University conducts ‘ Project Q ‘, an annual online survey for all first year students which includes questions on the quality of application, admissions and enrolment processes and students’ early experiences of university life.

These institutional-level surveys supplement the various feedback and programme evaluation exercises involving students within their academic Schools and enables the University to listen to the Student Voice.
